Hi, I’m Sarath.

I’ve spent most of my life trying to understand how things work - people, systems, incentives, products, businesses.

A lot of my work has sat at the messy intersection of these things, where technology alone isn’t enough and the real challenge is aligning behaviour, process and trust.

Over time, I’ve realised I’m less interested in building for the sake of building, and more interested in understanding why something breaks, where the bottleneck is, and what changes when you fix it.

Everything I learnt, was inside the placement office. Stretching myself till I broke, staying up all night figuring out how to bring that one aspirational recruiter - only to get roasted on Grapevine.

A few things about me

  • I wanted this page to be more artsy, but I decided to deploy it and then did not find time to make it artsy.
  • I watch Liverpool play a lot. A LOT. I promise to watch more of the Premier League and UCL next season.
  • I can talk for hours about Malayalam cinema. Nothing turns me off faster than a film that feels lazy or loose.
  • Inside my head, the day I start content creation is the day it's over for the rest of the Internet.
